A DOSIS® L60 now provides the ability to achieve both “on-demand” and pre-packing in the same robotic solution.

The L60 is the only completely automated and feasible blister card dispensing system on the market that does not consume your pharmacy staff and workspace. The L60 allows you to auto dispense across your entire pharmacy formulary.

Traditional dedicated pre-packing systems only partially automate and are really only designed for pre-packing large quantities of a single drug with a fixed number of pills per blister. Unfortunately these pre-packing style systems still require a great deal of direct labor for set up; change outs between medication types; and most significantly, the labor associated with the dispensing process. While these systems are usually efficient for one medication, it might not be what best fits your dispensing demands. Normally, only one to five drugs from the typical LTC formulary would justify such pre-packing in advance of the delivery.
